Starting the GF/CF diet...

Well- here it is... almost July and I really haven't had time lately to blog. It's sad and neglected. :( I'm not sure where my time goes. We have started the GF/CF diet with DS, and we have started B-12 shots too... I've been wanting to do this for awhile and now I feel overwhelmed. Yesterday I made meatballs, today I made chicken nuggets (more like chicken fries.) Ds is now eating gf/cf apple bars, meatballs, fish sticks, fritos, potato chips- all gf/cf. He has tasted steak, mushrooms, applsause and some other things that I can't remember right now... and we are using reinforcers that are not gf/wf right now-but hopefully within a month, he will be gf/cf.

We have tried several "store bought" treats and they taste awful. I need to search for something that he will work for. Oh, and we also started JuicePlus.

Anyway- I've been taking some time off of digi-scrapbooking... I just can't get into it anymore. I'm not sure why... it might be the sadness of autism has tarnished that for me too. Autism tarnishes things... makes them hard to do. I will share recipes here and try to be a better blogger-I'm not sure why! Anyway- I need to get going and get dinner ready for everybody!

working hard or hardly working?

i have to ask myself this question... a lot!

here are some things i've been up to... 

i want to design... i really do... do i have it in me? i'm not sure anymore. i need to decide what i want to do with my life someday, right? by the time i'm 40 hopefully, which is in the not too distant future. yuc.

i've been designing some banner/graphics for etsy. i've also been trying to bid on the alchemy projects (the 2 invitations). i really want to buy a letterpress antique press... darn why didn't i think of this stuff about 7-10 years ago? but i am searching ebay for one. 

anyway... it's beginning to be hot, summer-ie steaming hot out lately... which means it's beach time... i need some good books to read. i've just finished the 7 book Sookie Stackhouse series... i need more good books! i guess i actually need to break down and go to the library because that's free. maybe i will put that on my list for next week... get library card.

ugh monday... i don't know why weekends go so fast! Friday, C and I went to see Aliens vs Monsters. I think he liked it, it was the first time we sat through a movie in the movie theater! He did get a little scared at the loud parts, but I really think he liked his movie-going experience :) and that makes me happy.

here's a wedding invite that i am putting together for a proposal... it's just an idea. i quickly drew the lighthouse. i'm having fun doing proposals :)

well...i've been designing lately... i can't believe it! i plan on having 5 sets of templates for the BIG INSD SALE AT SBE... all will have a special price of $1 for the sale!!! 

i'm also doing some etsy things... and getting back into designing logos. we will see how everything works out... i've been looking for employment for so long now that i forget how to work and design with people around... i want feedback for my designs- i really do miss that part of designing. even though sometimes, the feedback was not what i expected. we will see how that works out... here are 3 designs I made for a proposal for a skin care line integrity cosmetics. i hope they like them. i want to get into design more... so this is where my blog will be heading.. my journey with design, photography and the digi scrapbook world.
